Dr. Bibi Das participates in medical education and professional educational programs, including giving educational talks and serving on the advisory boards of several pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Das receives remuneration for certain educational and advisory activities. 

These relationships are based on her clinical and professional expertise and experience. Compensation for speaking engagements or advisory-board participation is not based on, nor contingent upon, the number or type of prescriptions written, and these activities do not influence her independent clinical judgment or treatment recommendations. Pharmaceutical and other industry relationships are disclosed publicly through the federal Open Payments database, and patients are encouraged to review this information as part of an informed and transparent approach to medical care.

The Open Payments database is a federal tool used to search payments made by drug and device companies to physicians and teaching hospitals. It can be found at https://openpaymentsdata.cms.gov.

For informational purposes only, a link to the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Open Payments web page is provided here. The federal Physician Payments Sunshine Act requires that detailed information about payment and other payments of value worth over ten dollars ($10) from manufacturers of drugs, medical devices, and biologics to physicians and teaching hospitals be made available to the public.
