Comprehensive Initial Evaluation

A new patient visit will be a 90-minute psychiatric diagnostic interview. Concluding the evaluation I will discuss the diagnosis and recommend a treatment plan.

Initial components of the treatment plan, including medications, may be prescribed at the end of the appointment.

I often recommend specific data-driven psychotherapeutic approaches along with medications and may provide referrals if the patient does not have an established therapist.

Medication Management

Active management of psychiatric medications. During follow-up visits I will assess response to medications and modify treatment as indicated. Depending on the complexity of the case I may see a patient for 15 mins, 30 mins or a 45 min period. 

Second Opinion Consultations

One-time, in-depth consultations to help in the management of patients who want input regarding diagnoses and/or treatment options but who intend to continue working with their current provider.
  • Typical visit time: 120 minutes
  • Includes written report upon request
  • I do not accept insurance, but I can provide a detailed invoice for you to submit to your insurance carrier. Reimbursements may vary according to your coverage.

Genetic Testing

Genetic testing if appropriate can be done and I will interpret and explain results to help formulate a biologically driven treatment plan and minimize unwanted side-effects.
